Subsections (2)(e) and (f) and (3) of section 3 of the Local Government (Contracts) Act 1997, in so far as they confer power on the Secretary of State to make regulations, shall come into force in Scotland on 2nd December 1997.

Sections 2 and 4 to 9 of that Act, and section 3 of that Act except in so far as it is brought into force by paragraph (1) above, shall come into force in Scotland on 1st January 1998.
