Limitation of liability under section 154.

168.  For the purposes of section 17 of the Merchant Shipping Act as extended to the Sovereign Base Areas any liability incurred under section 154 shall be deemed to be a liability to damages in respect of such damage to property as is mentioned in paragraph 1(a) of Article 2 of the Convention on Limitation of Liability for Maritime Claims 1976.
