Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Rules)

These Rules replace the Coroners' Records (Fees for Copies) Rules 1982 as amended by the Coroners' Records (Fees for Copies) (Amendment) Rules 1990.

The fees prescribed by rule 2 differ from the equivalent provision in the 1982 Rules in that they are fixed by reference to the number of words rather than the number of folios. The fee prescribed by rule 3 is increased from 80p to £1 for each photocopied sheet.
