Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978 (S.I. 1978/32) by replacing Schedules 1 and 2 to that Order (article 2). Schedule 1 lists disinfectants approved by the Minister, and Schedule 2 lists disinfectants which, although no longer approved, can continue to be used as approved disinfectants until 31st December 1997.
The Order revokes the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) Order 1994 (S.I. 1994/2965) and the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) Order 1996 (S.I. 1996/697).
