1. This Order may be cited as the A127 Trunk Road (Southend Arterial Road, Havering) (50 mph Speed Limit) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 22nd September 1997.
2. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour on the length of road specified in the Schedule to this Order.
3. The 70 miles per hour, 60 miles per hour and 50 miles per hour (Temporary Speed Limit) (Continuation) Order 1978(1) shall be varied so that article 2 shall not apply to the length of road specified in the Schedule to this Order.
