(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Order 1993, which makes provision concerning the constitution and administration of the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (“the Board”).

The Order removes the Board’s duty to introduce persons wishing to qualify for registration in the register of nurses, midwives and health visitors to approved training institutions with vacancies on their training courses. It revokes the Regulations under which that duty was introduced.
