The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Architects Act 1997(1) hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Architects Act 1997 (Commencement) Order 1997.
2. The Architects Act 1997, except for section 28 (short title, commencement and extent)(2), shall come into force on 21st July 1997.

Article 2 of this Order brings the Architects Act 1997 into force with the exception of section 28 which came into force at Royal Assent.
