Whereas the Secretary of State has received notification from the Independent Television Commission in accordance with section 177(2) of the Broadcasting Act 1990(1) of details of the foreign satellite service known as Satisfaction Club Television together with their reasons why they consider that service to be unacceptable and why they consider that an Order under section 177 of that Act should be made:

And whereas the Secretary of State, having received such notification, is satisfied that the making of such an order is in the public interest and compatible with any international obligations of the United Kingdom:

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 177 of the Broadcasting Act 1990, hereby makes the following Order:
