3. The two members of the West Midlands Probation Committee appointed before 1st April 1997 by the justices of the petty session areas of Halesowen and Stourbridge shall continue in office as if they had been appointed by justices for the new petty sessions area of Stourbridge and Halesowen(1).

The petty session area of Stourbridge and Halesowen was constituted by the Petty Sessional Divisions (Dudley) Order 1996 (S.I. 1996/2873).
