The Social Security Benefits Up-rating Regulations 1996

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 30E(1), 90(b), 113(1)(a), 122(1) and 175(1) to (4) of, and paragraph 2(3) of Schedule 7 to, the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 19921 and sections 155(3), 189(1), (3) and (4) and section 191 of the Social Security Administration Act 19922, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, by this instrument, which contains only provisions in consequence of an order under section 150 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992, hereby makes the following Regulations:
