This Order effects the incorporation of the community of Pentyrch into the petty sessional division of Cardiff on 1st April 1996. The Order is made in consequence of the provisions of the Local Government (Wales) Act 1994 whereby that community, until then part of the county of Mid Glamorgan, is to form part of the preserved county of South Glamorgan and not the preserved county of Mid Glamorgan, thereby being excluded from the petty sessional division of Miskin.
