SCHEDULETHE VETERINARY SURGEONS AND VETERINARY PRACTITIONERS (REGISTRATION) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS 1995

The Council of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, in exercise of its powers under section 11 of the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, hereby makes the following Regulations.

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners (Registration) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1995.

2.  Regulation 16 of the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners Registration Regulations 1967(1) (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Regulations”) shall be amended by the deletion of the second sentence and the substitution of the following therefor—

“This fee shall be paid at the time of the application for registration and shall be £148.00 for names entered on the Register before 31st March 1996 and £161.00 for names entered on the Register on 31st March 1996 and thereafter.”.

3.  Regulation 20 of the principal Regulations shall be amended by the deletion in paragraphs (a) (b) (c) (d) and (e) of the amounts “£131.00”, “£38.00”, “£10.00”, “£25.00” and “£12.00” and the substitution therefor of the amounts “£143.00”, “£50.00”, “£15.00”, “£27.00” and “£13.00” respectively.

4.  Regulation 22 of the principal Regulations shall be amended by the deletion of the amounts “£17.00” and “£9.00” and the substitution therefor of the amounts “£18.00” and “£10.00” respectively.

5.  Regulation 23 of the principal Regulations shall be amended by the deletion in the first and third sentences of paragraph (b) of the amount “£148.00” and the substitution therefor in each case of the amount “£161.00”.

6.  Regulations 3 and 4 of the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners (Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 1992(2) and Regulations 2, 3 and 4 of the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners (Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 1995(3) are hereby revoked.
