3. Section 8 of and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 1 to the 1995 Act, for the purposes for which they are not already in force(1), and section 31(1)(a) of and paragraphs 3 to 11 of Schedule 1 and paragraphs 7 to 11 of Schedule 2 to the 1995 Act shall come into force on 1 January 1997.
S.I. 1996/3041 brought these provisions into force on 12 December 1996 for purposes of making recommendations for appointments to the Criminal Cases Review Commission, and making such appointments.
