SCHEDULE 2DIPLOMAS LISTED IN THE FIRST NURSING DIRECTIVE, ARTICLE 3 AND THE FIRST MIDWIFERY DIRECTIVE, ARTICLE 3

PART INURSING DIPLOMAS

Austria

1.  “Diplom in der allgemeinen Krankenpflege”(diploma of general nursing) issued by nursing schools recognised by the government.

Belgium

2.—(1) The certificate of “hospitalier(ère)/verpleegassistent(e)” awarded by the State or by schools established or recognised by the State.

(2) The certificate of “infirmier(ère) hospitalier(ère)/ziekenhuisverpleger (-verpleegster)” awarded by the State or by schools established or recognised by the State.

(3) The diploma of “infirmier(ère) gradué(e) hospitalier(ère)/gegradueerd ziekenhuisver pleger (-verpleegster)” awarded by the State or by higher paramedical colleges established or recognised by the State.

Denmark

3.  The diploma of “sygeplejerske” awarded by nursing schools recognised by the “Sundhedsstyrelsen”(State board of health).

Finland

4.  Diploma of “sairaanhoitaja/sjukskötare”(diploma in nursing or polytechnic diploma in nursing) awarded by a college of nursing.

France

5.  The State diploma of “infirmier(ère)” awarded by the Ministry of Health.

Germany

6.  The certificates awarded by the competent authorities as a result of the “staatliche Prüfung in der Krankenpflege”(State nursing examination).

Greece

7.—(1) “Το δίπλωμα Αδελφής ΝοσοΧόμας της Ανωτέρας Σχολής Αδελφών ΝοσοΧόμων”(diploma of general nurse from the advanced school of general nursing), authenticated by the Ministry of Social Services or by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, or

(2) “Το πτυχίο ΝοσοΧόμον του Τμήματος Αδεελφών ΝοσοΧόμων των ΠαραίατριΧώνΣχολών των Κέντρων Ανωτέρας ΤεχνιΧής Χαι ΕπαγγελματιΧής ΕΧπαίδευσης”(degree in nursing from the nursing sections of the paramedical schools at the advanced centres of technical and vocational training) awarded by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, or

(3) “Το πτυχίο νοσηλευτή ή νοσηλεύτριας των ΤεχνολογιΧών ΕΧπαιδευτιΧών Ιδρυμάτων (TEI)”(degree in nursing from the technological training establishments) run by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, or

(4) “Το πτυχίο της Ανωτάτης ΝοσηλευτιΧής της Σχολής Επαγγελμάτων Yγείας, ΤμήμαΝοσηλευτιΧής του Πανεπτιστημίου Αθηνών”(degree in nursing from the faculty of health sciences, nursing section, University of Athens).

Iceland

8.  “próf í hjúkrunarfræðum frá Háskóla Íslands”(diploma from the nursing department in the medical faculty of the University of Iceland).

Ireland

9.  The certificate of “Registered General Nurse” issued by “An Bord Altranais”(the Nursing Board).

Italy

10.  The “diploma di infermiere professionale” awarded by State-recognised schools.

Liechtenstein

11.  The diplomas, certificates and other titles awarded in another State to which Directive 77/452/EEC applies and listed in Article 3 of that Directive.

Luxembourg

12.  The following diplomas awarded by the Ministry of Public Health on the strength of an examining board decision—

(a)the State diploma of “infirmier”;

(b)the State diploma of “infirmier hospitalier gradué”.

The Netherlands

13.  The following diplomas awarded by one of the examining boards appointed by the public authorities—

(a)the diplomas of “verpleger A”, “verpleegster A” or “verpleegkundige A”;

(b)the diploma of “verpleegkundige MBOV (Middelbare Beroepsopleiding Ver pleegkundige)”(intermediate nursing training);

(c)the diploma of “verpleegkundige HBOV (Hogere Beroepsopleiding Verpleegkundige)”(higher nursing training).

Norway

14.  “bevis for bestått sykepleiereksamen”(diploma of general nursing) awarded by a college of nursing.

Portugal

15.  “Diploma do curso de enfermagen geral”(diploma in general nursing) awarded by State recognised educational establishments and registered by the competent authority.

Spain

16.  “Título de Diplomado en Enfermería”(university diploma in nursing) awarded by the Ministry for Education and Science or the rector of a university.

Sweden

17.  Diploma of “sjuksköterska”(university diploma in nursing) awarded by a college of nursing.

PART IIMIDWIFERY DIPLOMAS

Austria

18.  “Hebammen-Diplom” awarded by an academy of midwifery or a federal midwifery training establishment.

Belgium

19.  The “diplôme d'accoucheuse/vroedvrouwdiploma” awarded by schools set up or approved by the State or by the “Jury central”.

Denmark

20.  The “bevis for bestået jordemodereksamen” awarded by `Danmarks Jordemoderskole'.

Finland

21.  “kätilö/barnmorska” or “erikoissairaanhoitaja, naistentaudit ja äitiyshuolto/specialsjuk skötare, kvinnosjukdomar och mödravård”(diploma of midwifery or polytechnic diploma of midwifery) awarded by a college of nursing.

France

22.  The “diplôme de sage-femme” awarded by the State.

Germany

23.  The “Zeugnis über die staatliche Prüfung für Hebammen und Entbindungspfleger”, awarded by the State examining board.

Greece

24.—(1) The “Πτυχίο Μαίας ή Μαίευτη” authenticated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare,

(2) The “Πτυχίο Ανωτέρας Σχολής Στελεχών Yγείας Χαι ΚοινωνιΧής Πρόνοιας, Τμήματος ΜαιευτιΧής” awarded by the faculty of health and social welfare workers, obstetrics section, of the advanced technical and vocational education centres or by the technological training establishments run by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.

Iceland

25.  “próf frá Ljósmæðraskóla Íslands”(diploma from the Midwifery School in Iceland).

Ireland

26.  The certificate in midwifery awarded by “An Bord Altranais”.

Italy

27.  The “diploma d'ostetrica” awarded by schools approved by the State.

Liechtenstein

28.  The diplomas, certificates and other titles awarded in another State to which Directive 80/154/EEC applies and listed in Article 3 of that Directive.

Luxembourg

29.  The “diplôme de sage-femme” awarded by the Minister for Health following a decision by the examining board.

The Netherlands

30.  The “diploma van verloskundige” awarded by the examining body designated by the State.

Norway

31.  “bevis for bestått jordmoreksamen”(diploma of midwifery) awarded by a college of midwifery and a certificate of practical training issued by competent public health authorities.

Portugal

32.  The diploma of “enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem de saúde materna e obstétrica”.

Spain

33.  The diploma of “matrona” or “asistente obstétrico (matrona)” or “enfermería obstétrica- ginecológica”, awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science.

Sweden

34.  “barnmorskeexamen”(university diploma in midwifery) awarded by a College of Nursing.
