9. Where the place of manufacture or initial importation into the Community of a type of cosmetic product is within the United Kingdom the responsible person shall notify a United Kingdom competent authority of the address of the place of manufacture or, as the case may be, initial importation into the Community of that type of cosmetic product before its first supply in the Community.
