Persons from abroad
3.—(1) No grant shall be payable under Chapter I of Part I of the Act if the applicant, or any of the applicants, is a person from abroad within the meaning of regulation 7A (persons from abroad) of the Housing Benefit (General) Regulations 1987(1), as those regulations have effect from time to time.
(2) In this regulation, “applicant” means a person who applies, or who joins in an application, for a grant under Chapter I of Part I of the Act.
