The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(2) of the Licensing (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 1996(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Licensing (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 1996 Commencement Order 1996.

Appointed date

2.  The date appointed as the date on which the Licensing (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 1996 shall come into force is 21st October 1996.

Explanatory Note
