The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf—

1.  This Order may be cited as the A41 London—Birmingham Trunk Road (East of Aylesbury to West of Tring) Detrunking Order 1991 (Amendment) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 31st October 1996.

2.—(1) The A41 London—Birmingham Trunk Road (East of Aylesbury to West of Tring) Detrunking Order 1991(2) is hereby amended as follows:

(a)for the Schedule to that Order substitute the Schedule to this Order.

SCHEDULELENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE TRUNK ROAD

The length of the Trunk Road ceasing to be trunk road is from a point 1060 metres southeast of its junction with New Road, West Turville, to, and including, the Tring West Interchange.
