The Optimum Health Services National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Optimum Health Services National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 21st October 1996.

(2) In this Order—

“the Authority” means the Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Health Authority established on 1st April 1996(1);

“the old Authority” means the South East London Health Authority established on 1st April 1993(2) and abolished on 1st April 1996(3);

“the Trust” means the Optimum Health Services National Health Service Trust;

“the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the old Authority and the Trust on 18th January 1995, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the old Authority and the Trust.
