In exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 7(2) of the Sexual Offences (Conspiracy and Incitement) Act 1996(1), the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Sexual Offences (Conspiracy and Incitement) Act 1996 (Commencement) Order 1996.

2.  The Sexual Offences (Conspiracy and Incitement) Act 1996 shall come into force on 1st October 1996.
