The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities formerly managed by the Oxfordshire Health Authority resulting from the establishment of the Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust(2), having consulted the Oxfordshire Health Authority(3) and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 31st July 1996.
(2) In this Order—
“the Authority” means the Oxfordshire Health Authority;
“the Trust” means the Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust;
“the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Authority and the Trust on 1st April 1996, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the Authority and the Trust.
2. On 31st July 1996 the trust property shall be transferred from the Authority to the Trust.

This Order transfers to the Oxfordshire Learning Disability National Health Service Trust on 31st July 1996 trust property held by the Oxfordshire Health Authority. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the Department of Health, NHS Trust Unit, Room 1N33F, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
1977 c. 49; section 92(1) has been amended by section 11(5) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19), and section 2 of, and paragraph 44 of Schedule 1 to, the Health Authorities Act 1995 (c. 17).
