Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Jobseeker’s Allowance (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 7th October 1996, immediately following the coming into force of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 1996(1).
(2) In these Regulations—
“the Act” means the Jobseekers Act 1995;
“the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations” means the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 1996.
