The Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit and Supply of Information (Jobseeker’s Allowance) (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 1996

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of powers conferred on him by sections 35(1), 36 and 40 of the Jobseekers Act 19951 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consultation with organisations appearing to him to be representative of the authorities concerned2, by this instrument which is made before the end of the period of 6 months beginning with the coming into force of the enactments under which these Regulations are made3, hereby makes the following Regulations:
