Relaxation of restrictions on conduct of licensed betting offices

3.  In section 9 of the 1963 Act (betting office licences and betting agency permits) at the end of subsection (1), there shall be inserted—

  • except where the use consists of the use of the premises as a place where persons may collect amounts payable by way of winnings in respect of competitions of the kind mentioned in section 1(4A)(a) of this Act(1)..
