10.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the National Health Service (Appointment of Consultants) (Wales) Regulations 1983(1), the National Health Service (Appointment of Consultants) (Wales) Amendment Regulations 1990(2) and the National Health Service (Appointment of Consultants) (Wales) Continuation and Transitional Provisions Order 1996(3) are hereby revoked.
(2) Where, before 11th June 1996, an Advisory Appointments Committee has been constituted under the National Health Service (Appointment of Consultants) (Wales) Regulations 1983, in relation to an appointment to be made after that date, those Regulations shall continue to have effect in relation to any selection by that Committee and any appointment to be made by an Authority.
