Civil penalties
10. For the purpose of section 50(6) of the Act, the maximum amount of the penalty which may be imposed by the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority(1) under section 10(2)(b) of the Act is—
(a)£1,000 in the case of an individual, and
(b)£10,000 in any other case.

The Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority is established under section 1 of the Pensions Act 1995 (c. 26).
