Subject to the provisions of paragraph (2) of this article, and of articles 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, no person shall cause any vehicle to stop at any time in the trunk road red route clearway.

The controls specified in paragraph (1) of this article do not apply in respect of any area of the trunk road red route clearway specified in schedule 2.
