The Aberdeen and District Milk Marketing Board Dissolution Order 1996

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 14(5) of the Agriculture Act 1993(1) and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having been given notice by the Aberdeen and District Milk Marketing Board(2) that it has wound up its affairs, after consultation with the Board and being satisfied that the Board has carried out its remaining functions, hereby makes the following Order:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Aberdeen and District Milk Marketing Board Dissolution Order 1996 and shall come into force on 29th April 1996.

2.  The Aberdeen and District Milk Marketing Board shall be dissolved on 29th April 1996.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order provides that the Aberdeen and District Milk Marketing Board shall be dissolved on 29th April 1996.

Established under the Aberdeen and District Milk Marketing Scheme 1984 Approval Order 1984 (S.I. 1984/464), as amended by S.I. 1987/740; 1988/182; 1991/1735 and 1992/3142 and as further amended by section 1(1) and (4) of the 1993 Act and S.I. 1994/685, 2589 and 2900.
