The Housing Benefit (General) Regulations 1987 S.I. No. 1971
8. In regulation 21A(2) of the Housing Benefit (General) Regulations 1987 (treatment of child care charges)(1), in the definition of “local authority”, omit “and Wales” and after “the Isles of Scilly” insert “, in relation to Wales, the council of a county or county borough”.

Regulation 21A was inserted by regulation 5(4) of the Income-related Benefits Schemes (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 4) Regulations 1994 (S.I. 1994/1924).
