The Registrar General for Scotland, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 1 to the Adoption (Scotland) Act 1978(1) and with the approval of the Secretary of State, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1978 c. 28: paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 1 has effect in relation to parental orders and to applications for such orders with the modifications specified in paragraph 18 of Schedule 1 to the Parental Orders (Human Fertilisation and Embryology) (Scotland) Regulations 1994 (S.I. 1994/2804).
