The Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1995

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 1st January 1996.

Interpretation

2.  In these Regulations, “the principal regulations” means the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Regulations 1965(1).

Amendment of the principal regulations

3.  For the form set out in Schedule 1 to the principal regulations(2), there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 1 to these Regulations.

4.  For the form set out in Schedule 2 to the principal regulations(3), there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 2 to these Regulations.

5.  For the form set out in Schedule 5 to the principal regulations(4), there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 3 to these Regulations.

6.  For the form set out in Schedule 10 to the principal regulations(5), there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 4 to these Regulations.

7.  For the form set out in Schedule 16 to the principal regulations(6), there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 5 to these Regulations.

8.  For the form set out in Schedule 17 to the principal regulations(7), there shall be substituted the form set out in Schedule 6 to these Regulations.

Revocations

9.—(1) Regulations 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 of and Schedules 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 to the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1971(8) are hereby revoked.

(2) Regulation 4 of and Schedule 1 to the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1994(9) is hereby revoked.
