article 19(3)
1. The Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (Competition) (Wales) Regulations 1994(1) shall apply to a National Park authority as if it were a local authority for the purposes of those Regulations.
2. The Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemptions) (Wales) Order 1994(2) shall apply to a National Park authority as if it were a defined authority to which that Order applies by virtue of paragraph (a) of Regulation 3 (Application).
S.I 1994/338. By virtue of paragraph 8(1) of Schedule 8 to the 1995 Act, Part III of the said Act of 1980 has effect as if a National Park authority were a local authority for the purposes of that Part.
S.I. 1994/339. By virtue of paragraph 8(2) of Schedule 8 to the 1995 Act a National Park authority is a defined authority for the purposes of the provisions of the said Act of 1988 relating to competition.
