Coming into force in accordance with article 1(1)

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of powers conferred on him by sections 134(12), 139(10) and 189(1) and (3) to (6) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, it appearing to him that by reason of the urgency of the matter it is inexpedient to consult with organisations appearing to him to be representative of the authorities concerned(2), hereby makes the following Order:

1992 c. 5. Section 139 was amended by the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (c. 14) section 103 and Schedule 9, paragraph 20.

See section 176(2)(a) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992. Section 176 was amended by the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (c. 14), section 103 and Schedule 9, paragraph 23.
