1.—(1) This scheme may be cited as the Grampian Combined Police Area Amalgamation Scheme 1995.
(2) This scheme shall come into operation—
(a)in relation to—
(i)the constitution of the joint police board referred to in paragraph 4 below; and
(ii)the carrying out by that board of any functions necessary to bring this scheme into operation on 1st April 1996,
on 31st October 1995; and
(b)for all other purposes, on 1st April 1996.
