Revocation and savings

20.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the Pipe-lines (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1967 (1)(“the 1967 Rules”) are hereby revoked.

(2) The 1967 Rules shall continue to apply both to any inquiry which commenced before the date on which these Rules come into force and to any inquiry re-opened under rule 9(4) of the 1967 Rules, and for the purposes of this rule an inquiry shall be taken to have commenced on the day on which the Secretary of State issued the relevant notice under the 1967 Rules of his intention to cause the inquiry to be held.
