1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Fees) Order 1994.
(2) The following provisions of this Order shall come into force on 1st February 1995—
(a)Articles 1 and 2;
(b)Article 4 for the purposes of revoking so much of the Order specified in it as relates to the fees payable under the enactments specified in column (1) of Part I of the Schedule to this Order.
(3) Except as provided by paragraph (2) of this Article, this Order shall come into force on 1st April 1995.
2. The fee payable in England and Wales under an enactment specified in column (2) of Part I of the Schedule to this Order in respect of the matter specified in relation to it in column (3) shall be the fee specified in relation to it in column (4) and each of those enactments shall have effect accordingly.
3. The fee payable in England and Wales under an enactment specified in column (2) of Part II of the Schedule to this Order in respect of the matter specified in relation to it in column (3) shall be the fee specified in relation to it in column (4) and each of those enactments shall have effect accordingly.
4. The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Fees) Order 1993(1) (under which the fees payable were as respectively set out in column (5) of the Schedule to this Order) is hereby revoked.
