This Resolution of the General Synod of the Church of England, which was passed in accordance with section 7(1) of the Synodical Government Measure 1969, amends the Church Representation Rules contained in Schedule 3 to that Measure. The changes include making provision for dual membership, for changes in the Rules required by the Incumbents (Vacation of Benefices) (Amendment) Measure 1993 and the Charities Act 1993, for modifications of the retired clergy franchise and for modifications to the rules concerning elections and the appeal procedure.
