The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 2(5) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (National Blood Authority) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st January 1995.

Designation as body subject to investigation

2.  The National Blood Authority is hereby designated as a Special Health Authority to which section 2 of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993 (health service bodies subject to investigation by the Health Service Commissioner) applies.

Explanatory Note

(This Note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates the National Blood Authority as a health service body subject to investigation by the Health Service Commissioner under section 2 of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993.
