From a point on the north bank of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal 43.00 metres south–south– east of the junction of Thimble Mill Lane and Church Road Aston in the City of Birmingham.
To a point on the south bank of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal 65.00 metres south–south–east of the same junction.
A single span of 22.25 metres (skew distance between abutments).
Not less than 2.60 metres above the weir level.
A minimum clear navigable waterway of between 3.70 metres and 8.50 metres.
The bridge will be 11.80 metres wide (measured square) overall and will carry a 7.30 metre wide single carriageway, with a 0.60 metre wide hard strip west–side and a footway of 3.00 metres width on the east–side.
