Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes and replaces the Consular Fees Order 1989 and subsequent amending Orders. It increases some consular fees by amounts that are intended to meet, to some extent, the increase in the cost of providing the services. The increase is a step towards eventual full cost recovery. The average increase is approximately 50 per cent.
