The Isles of Scilly (National Health Service) Order 1994

Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred on her by section 67(6) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(1) and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Isles of Scilly (National Health Service) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 8th November 1994.

Application of Part I of the 1990 Act to the Isles of Scilly

2.  Part I of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 shall apply to the Isles of Scilly.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order extends to the Isles of Scilly Part I of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990. Part I is concerned with provisions relating to the National Health Service in England and Wales.
