In subsection (1) of section 71 of the 1982 Act (offences under Part II)—
a
in paragraph (a), for “62(1)” substitute “or 62(1), (1A) or (1B)”;
b
in paragraph (b), for the words “section 44” substitute the words “section 43A or 44”; and
c
in paragraph (c), for sub-paragraph (iv) substitute—

any statement sent out under paragraph 2(2)(b) of Schedule 2C to this Act or made available under paragraph 7(1)(c) of that Schedule,

After subsection (2) of that section insert—
2AA
Any person who intentionally obstructs a person exercising rights conferred by section 44(4A) above shall be guilty of an offence and liable—
a
on conviction on indictment, to a fine, and
b
on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum.
