Whereas a draft of this Order has in accordance with section 8(6) of the Visiting Forces Act 19521(the 1952 Act) been laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 8 of the 1952 Act, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Visiting Forces and International Headquarters (Application of Law) (Amendment) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st July 1994.
Amendment of 1965 Order2
In article 3(4) of the Visiting Forces and International Headquarters (Application of Law) Order 19652(which applies that Order to the headquarters and defence organisation mentioned therein)—
a
the words “The Headquarters of the Allied Commander in Chief Channel (CINCHAN)” and the words “The Headquarters of the Commander in Chief of UK Air Forces (CINCUKAIR)” shall be deleted;
b
at the end there shall be added the following entries—
The Headquarters of the Commander in Chief Allied Forces North Western Europe (HQ CINCAFNORTHWEST).
The Headquarters of the Commander Allied Naval Forces North Western Europe (HQ COMNAVNORTHWEST).
The Headquarters of the Commander Allied Air Forces North Western Europe (HQ COMAIRNORTHWEST).
The NATO Airborne Early Warning Force Headquarters and the NATO E-3A Component.
