2.—(1) The Drugs Trafficking Offences Ordinance 1988(1) shall be amended as follows.

(2) In section 6(4) after the words “section 22” there shall be inserted the words “of this Ordinance or section 14 of the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990”.

(3) In the definition of “drug trafficking” in section 2(1) after paragraph (c) there shall be inserted—

(d)manufacturing or supplying a scheduled substance within the meaning of section 12 of the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990 where the manufacture or supply is an offence under that section;.

(4) In the definition of “drug trafficking offence” in section 2(1) after paragraph (d) there shall be inserted—

(e)an offence under section 12, 14 or 19 of the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990;.

(5) For the avoidance of doubt it is hereby declared that the amendment by this paragraph to the definition of “drug trafficking offence” in section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Offences Ordinance 1988 applies to that definition as applied by any other enactment which applies as part of the law of Anguilla, including the Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) Act 1990 as extended to Anguilla by this Order.
