2.—(1) The following activities are hereby specified for the purposes of section 50(2) of the Agriculture Act 1993—
(a)the shooting and harvesting in the wild of game; and
(b)the repeated harvesting above ground level at intervals of less than ten years of short rotation coppice.
(2) In paragraph (1) of this article—
(a)“game” has the same meaning as in section 1 of the Poaching Prevention Act 1862(1); and
(b)“short rotation coppice” means a perennial crop of tree species which has been planted at high density.
