Citation, commencement and application
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Information as to Provision of Education) (England) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 31st May 1994.
(2) These Regulations extend to England only.
(3) Regulations 3, 4, 5 and 6(5) apply where, in respect of the area of a local education authority, (referred to in these Regulations as “the area”), an order under section 12(1)(a) or (b) of the Education Act 1993 has been made, which relates either to primary or secondary education or to both and the remainder of Regulation 6 applies, in respect of the area of a local education authority, whether or not such an order has been made.
