Electoral Division 38: Glenfarg, Methven and Strathearn

Commencing at grid reference NO 1588 0692 on the eastern boundary of Tayside Region and Perth and Kinross District where it intersects with the field boundary southwest of Beatie Burn; then northwestward along the said field boundary and its prolongation in a straight line to the A91(T) road; then southwestward along the said road and the B996 to a point in line with the Maw Burn northeast of Maw Cottage; then southeastward along the said burn and its prolongation to Greens Burn; then southwestward and southeastward along Greens Burns to grid reference NO 1483 0485 in line with field boundaries east of Arlary Myres; then generally southwestward along the said boundaries to and continuing southwestward along the Camel Burn to a point in line with the northern boundaries of fields lying parallel and immediately north of the A911 road between Burleigh and Lothries Bridge; then generally westward along the said field boundaries to the Burleigh Burn; then northward along the said burn to where it is crossed by the M90 motorway; then westward along the said motorway to a point in line with the field boundary leading northward to Hattonburn; then northward along the said boundary to and westward along the northern boundary of this field and continuing westward across the unclassified road leading northward from North Street, Milnathort, along the northern field boundaries north of Tillywhally to the Teeny Burn; then northwestward along the course of the said burn to where it crosses the unclassified road between Meikle Seggie and Upper Tillyrie; then southwestward along the said road to and following the southern curtilages of property at Meikle Seggie to the unclassified road leading westward past Westhall; then northwestward along the said road to the northern boundary of the former parish of Orwell south of Stronachie; then southwestward and westward along the said boundary and the southern boundary of the former parish of Dunning to grid reference NO 0156 0703 east of Littlerig; then northwestward in a straight line to and southward along the South Quich Water to the former southern parish boundary of Dunning; then northwestward along the said boundary and the western boundary of the said parish to White Moss Burn west of Westburn Cottages; then generally northward following the said burn to where it is crossed by the A9(T) road; then southwestward along the said road to a point in line with the western field boundary immediately west of North Strathy Cottage; then northwestward along the said field boundary to and southwestward along the track to the access road serving Drumtogie; then northwestward along the said road to just n orth of Drumtogie where the west side of the road is adjacent to the east bank of the Ruthven Water; then westward to the said water; then northwestward along the course of Ruthven Water to its confluence with the River Earn; then generally westward and northwestward along the River Earn to grid reference NN 8579 2068 in line with field boundaries south of Crieff Bridge leading to the rear curtilages of properties on the south side of Broich Road, Crieff; then northeastward along the said field boundaries to and southeastward along the said curtilages to the access road leading to Broich from Broich Road; then northeastward along the said access road to and southeastward along Broich Road and its continuation as the B8062 road to a point in line with the western field boundaries west of Pittentian; then northwestward along the said field boundaries to the track leading eastward from the east side of Kincardine Farm; then eastward along the said track to where it crosses the unnamed burn flowing southward from Tomaknock; then northward along the said burn to the unclassified road south of Tomaknock; then eastward along the said road to the road known as Highlandman Loan; the northward along the said road and its prolongation northwestward in a straight line to General Wade’s Military Road; then northeastward along the said road and its prolongation in a straight line to the A822 road north of Gilmerton then northward along the said road to where it crosses the Parkneuk Burn; then generally southwestward along the said burn to and northeastward and northwestward along the Shaggie Burn to its source west of Meall Tarsuinn; then eastward in a straight line to the summit of Meall Tarsuinn; then northeastward in a straight line to the summit of Meall Nan Caorack; then northeastward in a straight line to the Shochie Burn at grid reference NN 9706 3569 north of Auchmore in Glenshee; then southeastward along the said burn to grid reference NO 0544 3030 in line with the field boundary leading southwestward to the B8063 road; then southwestward along the said boundary to and southeastward along the B8063 road to the access road to Moneydie Roger; then southwestward along the said road and its continuation as a track through Dryarch Wood to the southern perimeter of the woodland strip known as Barber’s Wood; then southeastward along the said perimeter and the southern curtilages of Pitcairn Cottage and Lynedoch Park to the unclassified road leading southeastward to Pitcairngreen; then southeastward along the said road to a point in line with the northern curtilages of properties on the northern side of the green in Pitcairngreen; then eastward along the said curtilages and the prolongation of this line to the unclassified road leading northeastward to Cairnton Cottage; then northeastward along the said road to the track west of Cairnton Cottage; then southward along the said track to and continuing southeastward along the Gelly Burn to the River Almond; then eastward along the said river to the western boundary of ED 36 (Perth Inveralmond); then generally southward along the said ED boundary and the western boundaries of EDs 35 (Perth Letham), 34 (Perth Viewlands), 33 (Perth Moncrieffe) and 37 (Bridge of Earn and The Carse) to the eastern boundary of Tayside Region and P erth and Kinross District; then southward along the said boundary to the point of commencement.
