This Order amends certain housing legislation in consequence of the introduction of council tax under the Local Government Finance Act 1992. The Acts amended are the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976, the Rent Act 1977, the Housing Act 1985, the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, the Housing Act 1988 and the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.
