Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 1 and 72 of the Animal Health Act 1981(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:–
1. This Order may be cited as the Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) (Revocation) Order 1993 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
2. The Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) Order 1989(2) and the Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) (Amendment) Order 1990(3) are revoked.

This Order revokes the Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) Order 1989 and the Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) (Amendment) Order 1990 which provided for the testing of samples from and registration of flocks of domestic fowls kept for the production of eggs for human consumption. They also provided for various requirements relating to the collection and handling of eggs from such flocks and the control of vermin.
