Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Public Service Vehicles (Conditions of Fitness, Equipment, Use and Certification) Regulations 1981 as follows.
(a)The fee payable for a certificate of initial fitness is reduced from £136.50 to £129.00, both on the first application, and on any subsequent application when the test which that application will require includes a test of stability under Regulation 6. The fee payable for the certificate on any other subsequent application is reduced from £16.30 to £15.40.
(b)The fees payable for type approvals are reduced from £788.00, £74.00, £390.00 and £1685.00 to respectively £744.70, £69.90, £368.60 and £1592.30.
(c)The fee payable for the issue of a duplicate certificate is reduced from £9.30 to £8.80.
